Feast On Your TBR

Hello, hello!

Do you have the same problem as me with your TBR pile? In that some days you feel like it could suffocate you to death it’s the humongous? I dread to think how long I’ve owned some books and still haven’t read them!!

So, over on Instagram and Goodreads I’m starting a group – Feast On Your TBR (figured it was fitting considering my handle).

The aim is to pledge to read one book each month that has been on your TBR forever. I’m hoping to do some group reads, and other individually (hopefully letting people find some buddy reads if they wish) – alternating which kind of read it is every other month.

King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo will be the first group read – starting October. You can join in, or pledge your own book if you don’t want to read that one.

November will then be individual – but I’d love to know what people are pledging to knock off their TBR and what they thought of it, I adore finding new reads! I know it may be counter intuitive, but nothing beats the feeling of finding a new favourite.

December I’m going to make a reading schedule for anyone interested to help tackle the beast that is Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.

I’m not planning any further, other than January being individual again, as it may take another form once up and running (if it runs haha, could just be me on my tod) and also, I’d like peoples input into choices for group reads – not just using my own TBR.

TL,DR;

New group starting, group reads some months, aim to knock some books off your TBR piles and maybe find some new books along the way too.

About Me

Books and food enthusiast. I discovered a love for reading in my late teens, so you’ll see me catching up on older series quite often. I also love to travel around the UK, where I live, and picking up some crafty hobbies – I hope to share snippets of this amongst all the book content. Other interests include gaming, podcasts, drinking too much tea, and trying to personify autumn.
