“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.”
I loved this book. Of course I loved it. It’s a great enemies to lovers story that unfolds slowly over the book, after our two protagonists, a witch and a witch hunter, are thrust together in a marriage of convenience.

I loved Lou and Reid’s characters, but I absolutely adored the side cast of characters too! Ansel I would protect with my life. Coco is so damn loyal and loving. I won’t get much into the others, as they would be definite spoilers with how our plots unfurl.
One thing I would criticise would be that I didn’t feel a definitive voice for Lou and Reid’s chapters. They kinda melded into one for me, and I’d often forget who I was reading as. But I enjoyed myself so much, that I’m not going to dock it any stars for this.
I can’t wait for Blood and Honey, and I’m so glad that it’s now a trilogy! I think two books would have been too little time with these wonderful characters.
