Hey, long time eh?

Last month turned into a whirlwind of a month for me. The house I’d been buying since January finally all came together and I got the keys! I’ve been busy furniture hunting, painting, and doing some repairs. I’m a long way off a home still, as furniture is taking a long LONG time to be delivered, and I need everything haha, but at least its all slowly coming together now.
What have you been up to? Read any amazing books? Anything exciting happen? Tell me what I’ve missed!
I’m going to be slowly eaing back in – so no TBRs have been set, I just have a few buddy reads planned, and about half an hour ago I picked up some arcs on Book Sirens.
Some books I’m hoping to get to are:

Jane Eyre – Charlotte Brontë
I’ve wanted to read this classic for so so long! I’ve started this one already and I’m really enjoying it so far. I can’t wait to meet Mr Rochester.
“I would always rather be happy than dignified.”

The Shadows Betwen Us – Tricia Levenseller
This is the one I’m most nervous about. I’ve heard such conflicting reviews! But a Slytherin romance? Yes please! I’ve loked at the first line, and I definitely can’t wait to start!
“They’ve never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart. And they never will.”

The Hating Game – Sally Thorne
This has had such great reviews (at least that I’ve seen). I have high expectations – I just hope I haven’t set them too high!
Nemesis (n.) 1) An opponent or rival whom a person cannot best or overcome.
2) A person’s undoing
3) Joshua Templeman

The Price – Lily Hammer
This is the first arc (well it is published already) I’ve picked up, and it sounds perfect for thi time of year!
“The pursuit of ultimate power & knowledge has a deadly cost. Will Hagador survive the price he paid?”

The Box in the Cuts – Debra Castaneda
The other I picked up (also already published) – this is definitely giving me eerie vibes from the description!
“Teenage girls are turning up dead in the Northern California town of Hillside. They are blonde, seventeen, and they have been burned to death.”
