orilium + april wrap up // may tbr

[note: will i ever publish these on time? ahaha…]

April has been amazing! Probably my best month for reading for a good long while! The Magical Readathon hosted by G @BookRoast always results in some great reading for me though – I am so happy it has returned! It was so much fun to take part in – and I can’t wait for August!!!

A new favourite from the month is The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne – why on earth it took me so long to, a, read this book particularly, and b, pick up any John Gwynne book when I own a few is beyond me. It is a Viking inspired story following three POVs – the ending has me on tenterhooks for the sequel (which I’m mad about still not arriving!! C’mon Goldsboro, you can do it!).

About Me

Books and food enthusiast. I discovered a love for reading in my late teens, so you’ll see me catching up on older series quite often. I also love to travel around the UK, where I live, and picking up some crafty hobbies – I hope to share snippets of this amongst all the book content. Other interests include gaming, podcasts, drinking too much tea, and trying to personify autumn.
